After clearing the waiting lists, we have some Crowne Plaza Rooms we are now able to re-release for availability. These rooms are as follows:

• 43x Double Rooms
• 2x Twin Rooms

With these rooms, only some are available with early arrival and late departure as an option.

If you’ve already paid this fee for a non-residential reg, then you won’t need to pay this again – it will be discounted from the final cost.

If you’d like to request one of these rooms, please follow the instructions below, but please note they are being released on a ‘First Come, First Served’ basis, and are of course subject to availability – please also read our FAQs below!

IMPORTANT: The only route for rooms is by using the instructions below to contact our reg team. Room trading done ‘privately’ outside of official channels is not recognised by the convention, and any such trade would not be accepted as an official reservation by either ConFuzzled or our hotel venues.

If you are not currently registered:

First, both you, and your room share partner should register at reg.confuzzled.org.uk. Choose a ‘non-residential’ registration type.

Once you both have your registration numbers, you can contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk . Both you, and a room share partner will need to email us with your badge name and numbers – reference each other in the email you send in please!

FAQ

I don’t have a room share partner – can you hold a room for me whilst I find one?

No. We will not do this for you – you must have a room share partner, and both contact us, referencing each other in the emails you send.

Can you assign a room share partner for me at random?

No – we will never assign sharing partners in this way.

What about payment?

You’ll of course need to pay the difference to upgrade to a residential overflow registration – minus the cost of any non-residential fees if you’ve already paid these.

What about early / late?

Make sure you let us know what option you would like when you email in. We only have these options on some of the now available rooms.

I have already booked a hotel privately, can I cancel that?

We don’t recommend cancelling any private arrangements until you’ve had confirmation from our registration team that you have secured a space. Check your booking to confirm if you have the option to cancel or request a refund.

Is this a ‘second release’ of rooms?

No. ConFuzzled has not been allocated an extra block of rooms. Nor do we ever hold rooms back for additional releases. This is simply rooms in our original block that are now free following non-payments, waiting list allocations etc.

Are any single rooms available? Or can I swap to one with the hotel?

No – there are no single rooms available at this time.

Is it likely that any further rooms will become available after this?

Whilst there are still some final payments waiting to come through, our registration team advise it is now quite unlikely that further rooms will be available.
