Announcing: Arden Hotel

ConFuzzled are pleased to announce that we have negotiated a discount rate with an additional hotel!

The hotel in question is the Arden Hotel & Leisure Club, and will have availability for the main days of the convention, plus early-arrival and late-departure options.

The rates available are as follows, and includes Breakfast and parking,

• Single: £69 per night
• Double or Twin: £75 per night

For double-rooms, any booking you make will be for the whole room (for two people).

NOTE: The Arden Hotel availability is on a ‘First Come, First Served’ basis.

We are in the process of investigating transport options, and hope to share more soon.

Arden rooms will be available for non-residential registration attendees, or room-lottery attendees who are unsuccessful in securing a Hilton or Crowne room space.

PROCESS – How to secure this offer,

Once the main ConFuzzled room lottery has run, and the initial wave of payment deadlines has passed, we will then offer unsuccessful lottery applicants the opportunity to switch to ‘non-residential’. At that point, everyone who is non-residential (either by up-front choice, or switch) will receive the Arden Hotel Discount Code.

You’ll then need to phone the hotel to make your booking, using the discount code to secure the above rate. You cannot apply the discount code retrospectively.

When you book, you’ll need to make payment over the phone by credit or debit card. Cancellation is available until 2PM the day before your scheduled arrival

FAQs,

During reg I get asked if I want a room – why do I have to pick non-residential to gain access to Arden?

For the Hilton, and Crowne Plaza, ConFuzzled have directly purchased rooms, and are selling spaces in those rooms. For Arden Hotel, we have not purchased a room block, and have instead negotiated a discount code, allowing you to book directly.

As such, any booking you make will be directly with the hotel.

What if I need to make changes?

Your arrangement for the booking will be directly with the hotel, not ConFuzzled. As such if you need to make any changes or have questions, please contact the hotel directly.

How do I get to/from the Arden Hotel, and the Hilton?

Whilst there is a walking route, we acknowledge that it’s long. Thus, we’re investigating transport options and hope to expand on these with a further announcement as soon as possible.

Why don’t you offer a room lottery for this hotel?

Our arrangement is for a discount code only. As such we do not have a block of rooms to include in any lottery process.

Is there guaranteed availability for non-residential attendees?

No. The Arden rooms are subject to availability, on a first-come, first-served basis.

If I apply for the room lottery, and do not secure a room, can I subsequently switch to non-residential and then receive the Arden discount code?

Yes. As mentioned above, rooms in the Arden are subject to availability.

If I apply for the room lottery, and am successful, can I switch to non-residential? 

Yes.
