When to arrive

ConFuzzled runs 22nd – 26th May

If you have booked ‘Early Arrival’ – this relates to an extra night stay in one of our official accommodation options, meaning you can check in on the 21st May.

See the hotel details for your specific accommodation for details of your check in times.

Similarly, ‘Late Departure’ refers to an extra night stay, with a check-out date of 27th May. Again, you can find check-out details in your specific hotel page.

You do not need to have registered and collected your convention badge in order to complete hotel check-in.

If you are in a two person room, we suggest checking in together to avoid room-key validation issues.

Shuttle Service

Reminder! To get between the Hilton, the Crowne, and the Arden, we this year have a shuttle service available. For more details, including the timetable for this service head to this page.

Registration

To collect your convention pass (Con-Badge) and Pack, you can head to the ‘Arden’ Room in the Hilton, on the following days & times:

  • Thursday (early arrival)
    • 1400-1500 (Sponsors Only)
    • 1500-1800 (All attendees)
  • Friday
    • 1300-1400 (Sponsors Only)
    • 1400-1800 (All Attendees)
  • Saturday (Hampton Room)
    • 1000-1200 (All attendees)

Once registration closes on Friday, it will temporarily transfer to our Convention Operations (‘ConOps’) Customer services desk after the end of the official Opening Ceremonies (Scheduled to end 2000). It will move back to the Hampton Room for the Saturday morning slot listed above.

After the final ‘Main’ registration opportunity on Saturday, registration will move back to the Convention Operations (‘ConOps’) Customer Services desk. Please allow for a handover period – registration may not immediately operate at ConOps until the registration materials have been transferred to them.

Exclusivity (and “When can I fursuit?”)

We will have Hilton venue exclusivity between 7pm Thursday 21st, to 7am Wednesday 27th.

Please only fursuit within these times.

Note also that within the Hilton and Hilton Grounds, ConFuzzled is a private event, and as such is closed to all but attendees. Please wear your conbadge at all times. You must be a registered attendee to be ‘on-site’. As such, when arriving, please register as soon as possible.

Art Show & Auction

Advance art show submissions are now closed, but you can still bring items for submission at the Warwick room on Friday, between 1330 and 1630. Both Sellers and Buyers are advised to check the event schedule carefully to see the details on,

  • Art Show closing (with final bids)
  • Live Art Auction
  • Unsold Item Pickup
  • Buyer Pickup & Payment
  • Seller Payout

Lifts!

The Hilton lifts are in the process of being upgraded (yay!) However …. some of that work is actually ongoing and one of the lifts in the main Central lift lobby (next to reception) will be out of action (boo!).

This makes it even more important to please follow good lift etiquette, and avoid over-loads!

Sadly, the remaining lifts that will be in service have not yet been upgraded. As such, the rules we’d ask are,

  • Maximum Six people to a lift.
    • Consider each full peice of luggage to be a ‘person’ for this limit!
    • Taking in a full luggage trolley? Only one person should accompany said trolley in the lift
  • Please, don’t go up, to go down.
  • Please make way for those with accessibility needs.
  • Be courteous to others waiting, and don’t barge in, or queue-jump.
  • On the main check-out days, we know wait times can be very long – please allow time for this.
  • Where possible, use the stairs.

Be kind to one another, and the lifts!

Luggage Carts

There are very few luggage carts available, so on the main check-in and check-out days, please follow these guidelines,

  • No camping: Don’t take a cart until you’re actually in a position to take things to your room
    • (We would ask you not to load up a cart with luggage before checking-in. Please get your room key first.)
  • Return carts as quickly as possible so others may use them.

‘Living Well’ Health Club, Pool, Gym (Hilton)

No Fursuits are permitted in any of these facilities

Charges do not apply to any ConFuzzled Hilton Residential attendee. Please show your Hilton key wallet card to gain access.

ConFuzzled attendees not staying at the Hilton can pay £10 for admission to the LivingWell facilities. This is £10 per visit, and requires presentation of your conbadge.

Pool Opening Hours:
Thu 21st & Fri 22nd:  06:00-22:00
Sat 23rd & Sun 24th:  07:00-21:30
Mon 25th:  08:00-19:30 (Due to Bank Holiday)

Last entry is one hour before closing.

Gym:
Access to the gym is available 24/7.

Quiet Space, and Artist Lounge (Hilton)

Millers Bar will be open Friday–Monday from 11:00–21:00 as a quiet space. It is intended as a place away from the busyness of the convention. Everyone is welcome, including food, drinks, and fursuiters (but only two of these are for consumption). No music, TVs, or loudspeakers are allowed in the Artist Lounge. Please be respectful, quiet and calm in this space.

Memorial Tree

Our Memorial Tree will be in the Millers Bar quiet space again this year, and our Book of Remembrance will also be available for your messages and memories.
