Moonlight Events 2025 Code of Conduct
ConFuzzled UK Ltd. is thrilled to announce a selection of Moonlight Events at ConFuzzled 2025. We’d like to invite our attendees to explore a welcoming space where curiosity meets diverse expressions of identity. This includes events like: a relaxed dress code club night on Saturday that we’re calling ‘Big Night’
- social meet-ups, e.g. Shiny, Squeaky & Rubberfurs or Animalistic: The Pet Play Social
- shows and panels, e.g. ConFuzzled Fashion Show – Behind the Tails or Furrealism: Bodypaint Transfurmation
… and some more!
As we prepare to welcome attendees to these events, we are dedicated to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. The Code of Conduct provided herein sets the foundation for our club night and social events, emphasising mutual respect, safety, and adherence to event policies.
Moonlight Events with the attendees’ active participation that allow the relaxed dress code for them (e.g. club night or social meet-ups) require the prior sign-up and acceptance of this Code of Conduct by the attendees. This is not a requirement for Moonlight shows and panels, as attendees participate in these events only as the audience, and the relaxed dress code policy will not apply to them, but may to event runners or participants. No unauthorised photography is allowed during all Moonlight Events.
Join us as we work together to create memorable and enjoyable events for all involved.
Respect and Civility
- All attendees must treat each other, convention staff, and venue staff respectfully and civilly. This includes ConFuzzled staff and Hilton staff equally. We do not tolerate physical or verbal abuse of staff members or other attendees at the event.
- Instructions from ConFuzzled UK Ltd. executives, convention staff, Hilton staff, security, and venue staff must be followed promptly, primarily for safety reasons.
- Discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to racism, transphobia, biphobia, misogyny, ageism, ableism and body shaming, will not be tolerated.
- Attendees are reminded to consume alcohol responsibly. Excessive drinking is discouraged, and individuals exhibiting disruptive or intoxicated behaviour may be removed from any events to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.
- Water stations will be present at the venue, but if you wish to head to the bar for other drinks, you will need to cover up in clothes suitable for the public areas of the hotel as stipulated in the dress code before leaving the nightclub, or request a friend to bring your drinks to you.
- The Medical department may be called where there is a concern for the safety of any attendees.
Relaxed Dress Code Rules
- Moonlight Events are open to everyone, and while wearing the event-specific gear is encouraged, it is by no means obligatory to enter the event — fursuits or regular clothes are also welcome.
- Event-specific kink/fetish wear includes but is not limited to:
- Petsuits / Zentai / Spandex
- Pup Hoods, Gas Masks, Pet Play Masks
- Harnesses, collars, and non-insertable puppy tails.
- Latex/rubber clothing
- Leather outfits
- Wetsuits / Neoprene
- PVC clothing and accessories
This list is non-exhaustive, and the rules related to covering up private areas and nipples remain in place. When in doubt about an outfit, please ask a member of staff. Convention staff retain the right to refuse any outfit deemed inappropriate for an event. If disagreement exists on what is and is not appropriate, the Director and Associate Director on call will hold the final decision.
- Genitals, nipples (no matter the gender identity) and butts must be fully covered. Jockstraps and diapers must not be openly worn.
- Event-specific kink/fetish gear must not be worn openly/visibly in public spaces outside the event space. It must be covered up or carried until attendees can change in the cloakroom or changing areas.
- A changing area and privacy tents will be provided for you to change into gear brought to the events.
- Please note: Changing spaces are limited, and whenever possible, gear should be put on and taken off in your hotel room, with the exception of latex headpieces (and in the case of a medical emergency).
- When putting on latex-based gear, either at an event or in your room, the use of talcum powder or other powder-based lubricants is prohibited due to the aerosolisation of latex allergens. Latex items must be 100% free from powders. Latex items contaminated with powder will not be permitted to be worn at events, and you will be asked to leave if you are found to be wearing a contaminated latex item. You may also risk ejection from the convention.
- Footwear must be worn at all times, and is not optional. This means more than just socks or latex catsuit feet – footwear must have a solid sole.
- For attendees with inflatable latex suits – these must be inflated only within the event space, and shouldn’t be taken to an event from a hotel room while inflated. If your costume requires the use of an electric inflatable pump, then this must be PAT tested at ConFuzzled beforehand. An announcement will be sent with the times and location for PAT testing. If you do not PAT test your electric pump, you will not be permitted to use it. Inflatable suits will not be permitted during dance/club events, due to poor lighting conditions.
Admission and Conduct
- Entry to Moonlight Events is managed by the ConOps Department, ensuring compliance with outfit policy and ticket verification. Only ConFuzzled badge holders are allowed to own an entry ticket to the Moonlight Events club night or socials. Both badge and entry ticket must be shown at the door to the event.
- All actions between attendees must be consensual, including but not limited to social interactions, dancing, hugging, etc. “No” means no!
- Sexual acts (including but not limited to heavy petting, inappropriate touching, etc.) are strictly prohibited, with consequences ranging from warnings to bans pending the severity of the issue. This includes the exposing of the buttocks, genitalia and nipples.
Cloakroom & Property
- Attendees are responsible for their possessions. Confuzzled UK Ltd. and the venue are not liable for damage or loss of property.
- If a cloakroom is available at an event (e.g. club night), we recommend patrons use it to manage the storage of their belongings. However, the cloakroom is available for use at the attendee’s own risk. The cloakroom is not appropriate for personal belongings that require cold storage, such as cool-down vests, or medication that has to be stored at a certain temperature. No food/drink, dangerous or illegal items will be permitted for storage.
- Some social meet-ups will not have cloakroom facilities available. Please take this into consideration when bringing personal items, electronics, etc.
Safety and Security
- Attendees must comply with security measures, and where necessary, this includes bag checks by Hilton Security.
- Drug use or possession will result in immediate expulsion and police notification. We adhere strictly to venue-specific rules, licence requirements, and English Law.
- ConFuzzled Staff will be present at all times to enforce event rules, alongside stewards at doors and cloakroom areas. SIA registered security personnel will assist in rule enforcement.
- You will not be allowed to bring any restricted items into the event space. This includes weapons, liquids, needles, syringes, drugs, and powders. This list is non-exhaustive. If unsure, again, reach out for clarification before the event.
- Only emergency life-saving medication is permissible at the events, however, this should not require cold storage (please reach out to medical@confuzzled.org.uk before the event).
- Incidents can be reported to any staff member, who will escalate this to the relevant department.
Health Concerns
- Due to the possible presence of latex and the risk of latex allergens, we advise those with a latex allergy to not attend Moonlight Events.
- In the event of a medical emergency, please make any staff member aware. They will escalate this to the medical department. Please understand that if you are wearing gear and suffer a medical emergency, the medical team may be required to take actions to ensure your safety which could damage or destroy your gear.
- If you have any private medical concerns and are planning to attend the Moonlight Events, including e.g., epilepsy, severe asthma, etc. Please contact the medical department (medical@confuzzled.org.uk) prior to the event with any concerns you may have. ConFuzzled does not provide medication, and attendees are expected to retain required lifesaving medication on their person at all times. Do NOT store your required medications in the cloakroom – keep these on your person at all times.
- Most Moonlight Events will have medical personnel present that can be called upon in the event of an emergency. In case of emergency, please find the nearest member of ConFuzzled Staff or Crew.
- Hand sanitising stations will be made available for general hygiene purposes. Additionally, face masks can be provided where requested. These will be standard face masks and are provided as a courtesy. If you have any medical concerns, please source your own FFP2/FFP3 masks, shields, and any protective equipment that would be suitable for your personal medical requirements.
Venue Respect
- Attendees are responsible for any damages caused to the venue and must avoid actions that could lead to damage. Where damage is noted, we reserve the right to ask you to repair or replace items damaged – and you agree to do this within 30 days of the claim.
- Attendees are reminded to be aware of how their gear may inadvertently cause damage to the hotel environment, such as from silicone oil, buckles, etc.
- You should under no circumstances enter the backstage areas, or touch/interact with any of the technical equipment present in any event areas.
- Cooperation with event and venue staff is essential for safe and enjoyable Moonlight Events.
Photography and Privacy
- Only photography by official ConFuzzled photography team members will be allowed in the Moonlight Events space. Some Moonlight Events will feature a dedicated area for photos with a backdrop setup, and will also feature additional ConFuzzled photographers that will roam and take photos during the panel. Please be aware that some of these shots may be candid, so by attending, you understand that you may be included in photographs taken by the ConFuzzled photography team.
- If you do not wish to be included in photos taken at the panel, please let the photographers know. We will do our best to accommodate this, although we cannot 100% guarantee exclusion due to the nature of the events and how photos will be taken. The only way to guarantee not being photographed at these events is to not attend.
- No unauthorized photography may take place in the Moonlight Events space. You will be asked to cover up your phone camera lenses with stickers provided by the event. The use of cameras will result in a warning, the request to see the photo deleted, and expulsion from the event. If possible, we recommend you leave your phone in your room.
- Convention cameras will be inactive during the club night event, and the photography department will not be present.
Final Agreement
- By attending, participants agree to adhere to these rules alongside the Confuzzled Code of Conduct, fostering a respectful and enjoyable environment for all.
