Announcing Moonlight Events
After the sun goes down, the animals come out to play
New for 2025, we’re excited to be able to share details about our Moonlight Events – late night sessions with more mature content or NSFW themes.
We’re hosting these events to give attendees opportunities to explore broader themes through panels, art, performances, and meet-ups, all within a respectful, adult-oriented environment designed for creativity, expression, and fun.
Moonlight events are highlighted with a moon icon 🌙 in our timetable and conbook.
Some Moonlight events require a single additional sign-up (at the top of this page – you only need to sign up once, for all events in that category).
Please note that signups for Moonlight events are separate to our previously announced individual events sign-ups.
Moonlight Event FAQs
Can I turn my event into a Moonlight Event?
We are not currently accepting applications to turn existing events into Moonlight Events. Events designated as Moonlight have been approved with existing event runners in partnership with the convention.
Is the dress code changed for Moonlight Events?
Individual events such as socials or The Big Night: After Party may have a looser dress code, developed in partnership with the convention. Audience dress codes for panel events or demonstrations are not affected by this loosening. This dress code may include relaxations on materials such as latex or accessories such as pup hoods or harnesses.
Will this change the wider convention dress code?
The normal convention dress code will remain in effect outside of spaces where panels are taking place. Individual Moonlight Events have developed their own, looser dress codes in collaboration with the convention. Some events may provide changing spaces inside the panel rooms.
What events are designated as Moonlight?
Here are just some of the events you’ll find this year:
- The Big Night: After Party*
- Animalistic: The Pet Play Social*
- ConFuzzled Fashion Show – Behind the Tails
- Furrealism: Bodypaint Transfurmation
- Shiny, Squeaky and Rubberfurs Social*
You’ll see more in our full schedule, coming soon!
* this event requires prior registration as it has a relaxed dress code for the attendees.
Will there be more Moonlight Events next year?
Events are run by attendees like you – if you have an idea for an event or social you’d like to run at future events we thoroughly encourage you to drop us a note at events@confuzzled.org.uk, and one of our team will be happy to discuss your proposal.
Do I need to register for any Moonlight events?
Yes – but only once and only for those events that require prior sign-ups. You can register for Moonlight Events here – doing so is free and will allow you access to all Moonlight Events that require registration. You will also be able to register “on the door” but we request you do so sooner rather than later as it reduces the amount of work our events staff have to manage.
Do all Moonlight Events require registration?
Some Moonlight Events will not require registration i.e. those where the audience may not be allowed to wear the more relaxed outfits.
Do I need to wear gear to Moonlight dance or social events?
Absolutely not! While minimum dress code requirements apply to all convention events, you absolutely do not need any sort of “gear” to attend any of these events.
Can I take pictures at Moonlight Events?
Unfortunately, no. No unauthorized photography will be allowed during any Moonlight events — both socials, panels or shows (we will have pretty banners to remind everyone of this!). Our Photography team will be available during some of these events to take pictures of attendees in gear, if they request these.
I don’t want to be photographed at these events
If the event you are attending includes photographers but you would rather not be photographed, please make a member of staff or crew aware of this and we will ensure that you are left out of any photographs.
