Please read the following terms carefully as by registering for ConFuzzled, you agree to be bound by these conditions. This is in addition to the Registration Terms which you also agree to abide by.

  1. Valid, in date, photo ID must be presented upon arriving at the event otherwise entry to ConFuzzled will be refused.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account on the Registration System and your password. You should take all necessary steps to protect your account details and if you believe your account has become compromised, you should contact us immediately.
  3. We will do our utmost to ensure availability and correctness of our website and registration systems. However, this cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to suspend access for repairs or maintenance and will assist within reasonable means to correct any errors in your Registration or account caused by any technical failure on our behalf.
  4. We reserve the right to cancel your registration or refuse access to our website for any reason.
  5. You are entitled to cancel your registration within ONE WEEK (7 days) of your full payment being confirmed and receive a full refund. If you wish to cancel after this time, we regret that we will be unable to offer you a refund, except in very exceptional circumstances at the full discretion of the ConFuzzled Registration Team and/or Directorate.
  6. Neither ConFuzzled UK LTD, The Crowne Plaza or the Hilton will be responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control (including, but not limited to, acts of God, governmental authority, acts of war, or acts of terrorism) that make it illegal or impossible to hold the event. Therefore, ConFuzzled UK Ltd reserves the right to cancel its main event without warning.
  7. In the circumstances that the event is cancelled due to a valid impossibility occurrence, refunds will be settled proportionately.
  8. We will protect the information submitted to us within the guidelines of the Privacy Policy as laid out on our website in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
  9. You agree to allow us to publish your nickname and country of origin, along with your current membership level, in public on our website for the current yearly cycle (ending 31st July). If you are a sponsor, you also agree to allow us to publish your nickname in our Convention Book (ConBook). You can opt out of this option by emailing registration@confuzzled.org.uk.
  10. You agree to allow us the right to reprint any image submitted through our registration system for the express purposes of customising your convention badge (ConBadge).
  11. All registrations made through our system are reviewed by us for validity. If it is suspected that any of the information provided to us is fraudulent or incorrect, we reserve the right to refuse your registration.
  12. Once approved, you have a limited time in which to make the full and complete payment of your registration fee. This time limit is subject to your selected method of payment and is displayed on your registration dashboard. This time period may change after approval as a result of changes to your payment method.
  13. If you fail to pay within the time limit, you will be issued an e-mail reminder notice and your registration will be marked as Overdue. Once you are marked Overdue, your Registration may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of Registration staff.
  14. If you pay for the cost of another attendee’s registration, the registration you have paid for is the property of the attendee named. Only the attendee named on the registration can request changes, cancellation or submit a refund request.
  15. The closure of residential registration will be published with as much notice as possible either via e-mail, on the ConFuzzled website or via the official social media accounts @cfconvention. The closure of residential registration will be no later than 5 weeks prior to the convention.
  16. You may change your room type after your initial registration, up until residential registration has closed. However, room types are subject to availability and it may not be possible to complete your request. Your room type and sharing arrangements cannot be changed after residential registration has closed.
  17. You may change your membership level after your initial registration as long as the request is sent before cut off for Sponsor upgrades or the close of registration. However, if we have received your payment, you will not be able to change to a cheaper membership level than you have already paid for.
  18. You may transfer your registration to another person on a like-for-like basis any time before residential registration closes. To do this, both parties must contact the Registration Team to initiate the transfer. No refunds will be permissible on the registration once a transfer has taken place. To avoid any potential fraud within the lottery the registration team may ask you to validate your identities ahead of the transfer.
  19. All two berth rooms require both spaces in the room to be filled at the time of booking i.e. you must find someone to share your room with you in order to request these room types. It is not possible to have the Registration team assign a roommate for you.
  20. If requesting an Executive room and your roommate cancels during the grace period as above, you will have seven calendar days to find a replacement (or residential registration closes, whichever occurs soonest). If a replacement roommate cannot be found your registration may be cancelled and refunded.
  21. The convention badge (ConBadge) is your ticket to the convention. Your ConBadge must be visible at all times whilst you are in the convention space.
  22. Your ConBadge remains the property of ConFuzzled UK Ltd. until the end of that year’s convention. ConFuzzled UK Ltd. reserves the right to ask you to return the badge to us due to breaches of the Code of Conduct. Please see the Code of Conduct for more details.
  23. By registering for a residential membership, you also agree to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Reservation Rules and Restrictions, which are available here, and are liable for any costs incurred as a result of breaches of either the ConFuzzled or Hilton Conditions of Sale. This is also the case of residential attendees at the Crowne Plaza, they must adhere to both the rules of Crowne and Hilton simultaneously.
  24. Any changes or requests relating to bedrooms prior to the convention start date must be conducted through ConFuzzled UK Ltd. by contacting the Registration department.
  25. If you register for and pay for a Dealers’ Den table no refunds can be given. Except at the discretion of the Dealers’ Den team.
  26. If you register for a space in our Dealers’ Den you agree to abide by our Dealer’s Den Terms and Conditions
  27. The card processor Terms of Service apply to your payment if using the credit/debit payment option. These will be displayed at the time of payment. This service will only be offered in exceptional circumstances when all other avenues of payment have ceased.
  28. The pricing of options are as displayed on the website. The pricing applying to your registration is displayed on the registration summary at the end of the registration process. In the event of an error in the pricing you will be contacted and advised of the correct price.
  29. We reserve the right to vary pricing at short notice – however, the price on the registration summary page is the price you should pay (Errors & Omissions Exempt – see clauses 2 and 25). If you believe this to be incorrect or there has been an error you should contact registration immediately.
  30. All registration options, including room types and membership levels, are subject to availability.
  31. Exclusive Convention Items (e.g. T-Shirt, Drinking Vessel, Tiered Sponsor Gifts etc) given to Membership Plus and Membership Sponsor Tiers are gifts awarded in recognition of your support for the event, not additional items included in your purchase of membership. Gift items are subject to change if circumstances dictate. In the event of faults developing with these gifts ConFuzzled UK Ltd. will only be able to replace them whilst existing stocks last unless responsibility is assumed by the supplier. Replacements will not be issued for damage caused by normal wear and tear.
  32. ConFuzzled UK Ltd. is not liable or responsible for any items of personal property left in convention spaces. This includes the Fursuit Lounge, Stage, Nightclub or any event space, any item you leave in these spaces is done so at your own risk.
  33. If you choose attending or residential options that are not available, you will either be informed of this or be placed on a waiting list and kept up to date as to your options.
  34. If you are on a waiting list, you can choose to wait for your choice to become available, or you can choose to change your registration options.
  35. ConFuzzled UK Ltd. is a limited liability incorporated members club established in the United Kingdom. Company number: 06185967. As such, the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom will apply. Associate membership of ConFuzzled UK Ltd. is included as part of every registration, beginning on the date that your registration is fully paid, and ending on the 31st July the following calendar year.
  36. If you are found to be entering false details to gain an unfair advantage in the lottery as deemed by the registration team/directorate you may be permanently banned from the convention.
  37. Any changes to this agreement will be notified to you via your email address on your registration. You should inform us immediately if you wish to change your registered email address.
